Accessories: laser gun, car accessory(dunno what its called) & Instruction manual
Packaging: Carded
Size: Deluxe class

Toy Review by: JayCee

Introduction:

Sunstreaker was first seen in the Transformers Generation 1 series. He was probably known as 1 of the first Autobots to have crash landed on Earth a million years ago carried by the Ark. He is also a twin brother of Sideswipe

Vehicle Mode:

In vehicle mode he is very astonishing with a Lamborghini like alternate mode. Color is very catchy and well done aside from the chest plate which seem to be having a dirty yellow painting.

Vehicle scale Comparison:

Looks so good with fellow autobots almost all were at the same scale in vehicle mode.

Transformation:

transformation is quite difficult since its car mode is tightly done and well locked. He possesses a simple automorph mechanism which is located in its chest. Rotating the chest in robot mode allows its head to come up.

Robot Mode:

In robot mode………………………..WOW! This is so cool……my HONEST reaction pardon me. Robot mode is really great especially the amount of articulation it was given.

His mufflers turned to be his laser gun and the car accessory(dunno what its called) is attached to its back to give you that nostalgic G1 look.

Thanks to previous other reviews I find a cool toy gimmick which I think will be later on use for his twin brother I guess this proves that they really are twins even though they have different robot mode appearance

Robot scale Comparison:

he outstands when compared to other Classics perhaps a minor miscalculation there. I really do not know how tall he is compared to other autobots. ^_^

Comments:

for my overall reaction I find it VERY good. I’m not a fan of Hasbro but they really out done it this time and I’m giving my applauses for it. Some may have very loose parts on my part it came to be the car’s door they seem to be too loose in robot form but in general joints are tight.

Accessories: Sword like gun w/ a firing projectile, Dino tail can also be use as weapon, Skill Card, TF Henkei manual & a Transformation Instruction

Toy Review by: JayCee

Introduction:

Grimlock is first seen in Transformers Generation 1 back in 1985. Known as Leader of the Dinobots and famous for his caveman speech w/c makes others think that he not intelligent. Grimlock is one of the strongest Autobots ever created; He can probably match up to Optimus Prime.

Dino Mode:

Dino mode possess good pose ability,

w/ a right amount of articulation you can make him crush any Decepticons present.

Figure also has munching action, so you could feed him whatever you want.

Dino mode carries his sword like gun for long range action.

Transformation:

His transformation gave me sometime to figure out w/o looking in the manual. I liked how they come up with new techniques to transform him, though I am not really comfortable having his Dino head for his feet. Some twist and turns are needed to make his Dino feet become his arms

Robot Mode:

Grimlock pretty much resembles his G1 counterpart

but this time his much more pose able and can kick more Decepticon Butt.

For toy gimmicks, he can use his tail as a whip and he can also carry the sword like gun from his Dino Mode for serious Decepticon punishing.

I have a hard time making him stand when carrying his weapons at back. Due to Dino mode’s long torso section its hard to see his knee joints in Robot Mode. Arms are loose and I’m having a hard time how to lock them, it seems mine has an arm lock problem because his arm lock (located in his neck) doesn't fit on the lock. I dunno if its just mine or all molds has this problem (must read instruction manual again).

Comments:

This is my first Grimlock Figure and I’m probably satisfied by the articulation of the toy. I liked the G1 paint job and the chrome parts w/c made him way cooler than the Classics line. Some poses are also hard to acquire due to the bulkiness of the toy.

And for that ME GIVE GRIMLOCK! 8 Robot Points

Category:Other
Name: Ramjet
Faction: Decepticons
Sub Group: Seekers
Series: Transformers Classics
Packaging: Carded
Release: 2006
Manufactured By: Hasbro
Variations: Retooled version of Starscream
Accessories: Two Missiles, Two Launchers, Manual
Notes: None

Introduction:

Ramjet's get less attention being a mediocre minicon or just small jet from Beast Wars 2 that doesn't look like him. But this time around he returns as as one of the cone head 'seeker' that we are familiar with. Don't think that he's repaint like the previous likes of Starscream & Skywarp he's different.

Vehicle Mode:

Ramjet shares parts of of Starscream & Skywarp. However there are parts you'll notice about difference between the the two seekers like...

The nose of the plane is shorter, that allows for the 'cone head' transformation. But there's one issue though that you might over looked, which is a throwback to the vintage figure. You'll see his head in the bottom part of the plane's nose. Another difference you'll notice is the design of the wing obviously. The boosters and tail wings are stationary compared to the previous ones which doesn't flip over.

But you can pivot the wings vertically and you can flip the wings to the back. Though interestingly enough that it doesn't show the use of it. The color scheme is white with red and gold towards the rear.

Transformation:

Transformation is the same with exceptions in two areas. First, the wings doesn't get flip over. Though, the leading edge of the wings can be folded back. Lastly, the nosecone turns to reveal Ramjet's head.

Robot Mode:

Though Ramjet is 90% based on Starscream, but retooled you'll see there's the difference in the figure. The face is very different from Starscream's and looks more like the vintage G1 Ramjet. All the red colors are gone replaced by more gray schemes.

The last difference with Ramjet are the missiles. They are noticeably 'fat' than what the other 2 seekers have been given with. With Ramjet, the seeker collection is almost complete.

Comments:

Overall jet mode is outlandish in contrast to Starscream and Skywarp. So far my favorite in all aspect of the design. Though color white is not for me this one is the modern representation of the Ramjet now. Hasbro could have released Thrust in the regular line, but Ramjet will do justice being the sole cone head that differs them from the other two. Ramjet gets a score of NINE ROBOT POINTS!

Toy Review by: Magnusjam

Introduction:

From the moment Teletran-1 wasactivated in the very first episode of The Transformers in 1984 the first was to be awaken was Skywarp. Over the years he was not the spotlight until coming back as part of the Transformers Classics toy line that was packaged as a store exclusive with Ultra Magnus.

Skywarp is the only known seeker jet (that's what they call Starscream & Tundercracker along with him) to have teleportation abilities. Quite one of the trusted Decepticons by Megatron. This black jest is coming back and everyone is warming up for this Decepticon.

Vehicle Mode:

Just like Starscream his alt mode is the F-15 Eagle painted in black with silver & purple stripes. Selected parts of Skywarp is painted in purple colors like the nozzle & thrusters. Missles are painted in black.

What's nostalgic with Skywarp compare with Starscream is he retaines the stripes and I like the black colors.

Transformation:

Same as Starscream nothing too complicated. Compare it to the vintage ones, that you need to dismantle the wings and the weapons. This one you just fold and pull out some parts, but no need to remove anything.

Robot Mode:

The robot mode reflects a slight opposite when it comes to color with Skywarp. He has better colors like silver paint on his entire face. Purple forearms and toes. Silver part in the robot's chest and how cool was it to see it being represented in modern times.

Though in robot mode it has still limited articulations and all but when you see Skywarp side by side with Starscream this one stands out. Black is good on this repaint.

Comments:

Overall I liked the new representation of Skywarp in the Transformers Classics toy line. Everything was almost too perfect with this character. Just that limited articulation has hampered this figure, but all in all he gets NINE ROBOT POINTS!

ReviewReviewReviewReviewTF Masterpiece: Optimus Prime (Bootleg)Mar 31, '08 11:54 AM
by Transformers for everyone
Category:Other
Name: Optimus Prime
Series: Masterpiece
Packaging: Window/Boxed
Release: 2003 & 2006
Manufactured By: Conversion Metals Cars (same company that made the Binaltech replicas)
Variations: 20th Anniversary (2003), MP-01 (2003), 20th Anniversary Movie DVD, & MP-04 (with trailer)
Accessories: Energon axe, Megatron Gun, & Ion Blaster
Notes: The Bootleg version of the exact copy from the original

Introduction:

The Masterpiece series was released in December 2003 by Takara & was released in the US for the 20th Anniversary of Transformers (1984-2004). It was released again in 2006 to celebrate the anniversary of the original animated movie (1986-2006). It was released in the Masterpiece series for the second time with the famous trailer. Variations is noticeable in the four versions that was released. This time around we take a look on the bootleg version... Which basically the exact copy of the 20th Anniversary Animated DVD Movie.

Vehicle Mode:

From the ground up you'll notice that this is the exact copy of the original down to its materials used to build this bootleg. It has diecast parts in the cab part and the part where it transforms into its legs.

But slight color variations if your going to based it in the 2006 Edition (20th Anniversary Animated DVD Movie). The grill and bumper comes more brighter chrome which is nearly blinding if you looked at it. The tail lights are painted orange and there gray parts that you'll notice in robot mode too.

But as you looked to compare it with MP-04 (The only reference that we have here) its exact size, material, and design are close enough to say it can pass as the real thing wit the exception of plastic quality and color of course. The only thing that's missing is the Autobot symbol located in the left side of the cab, and the smoke stack remains short.

So far the truck mode looks the same and its compatible with the MP-04 trailer. The peg though is slightly smaller, that you need to push the trailer down so the pegs can lock together. Unlike the real version where the peg fit in exactly.

The suspensions from the the front and rear are working independently just like the real Masterpiece or the 20th Anniversary Editions. Tires are rubber but no "Formula Desert Dog" engraved in them.

Transformation:

Just like the real thing complexities are the same. You need a little bit of strength to pull out his legs since has more tight joints than the first time opening the the MP-04 Edition. It took more minutes to sweat it out when it was in vehicle conversion unlike to robot mode.

Robot Mode:

The head sculpt is the same with a few noticeable colors that are not in the originals. The mouth piece is chrome silver close enough for your face to show in the reflection. The mechanism to have the mouth piece move does not work. The eyes are colored in flat blue as to the originals it has shinier eyes compared to this.

The body retains all the aspects of the original. Namely the diecast parts that was described earlier. Same colors from the 25th Anniversary Animated Movie DVD, which is colored in light tomato red. You'll notice that the Autobot insignia located in the left side of the truck cab is not present in robot mode.

One thing that you'll see also is his communicators on both arms. In the original release you see Megatron & Grimlock. But in this one you see both Megatron on his screen. It must be agonizing seeing his arch enemy calling him.

You'll notice also if the truck grills still is the brightest around that you'll notice immediately. The leg part still carries the same diecast material like from the original. But the toes and hands would stay colored in gray just like have a pair of shoes with gloves.

The smoke stack is short since as mentioned before its based on the US released Optimus Primes, where they has castrated to follow US standard child safety laws. Side by side with the MP-04 it mirrors everything exception with quality as the Matrix of Leadership keeps falling off. It also lights up unfortunately I don't have batteries with me to show you.

The weapons like the ion blaster, the energon axe, and Megatron gun are the same with a few nit picking like the color variations.

Namely the axe is a bit pinkish and the there's no Decepticon symbol in the Megatron gun. The ion blaster has slight same color as the original 20th Anniversary Animated Movie DVD Edition.

Packaging:

The same shape design of the box was based from the US released 20th Anniversary Animated DVD Movie packaging. Window type but with disturbing text printed in the box. Although this is not the original it appears to be close enough copy of the original.

Comments:

Overall its a rare find that you'll see a bootleg such as this. I thought the bootleg Binaltechs that came out sometime in 2005 was the best. But the same company that made them had to come out and release this bootleg. It would be great for a custom of... Black Convoy perhaps?

Totally this one is difficult to find unless you have to get 2200 points to win it in a video game arcade, but this is surely going to make Hasbro & Takara Tomy noticing this.

The Score: Perfect 10 Robot Points

Special thanks to...

Mach Diesel of SMU Toys for spotting it and Victor Hideo aka Sixshot or Transformers Philippines forums for lending this awesome toy for this review.

ReviewReviewReviewReviewTF Henkei: MegatronMar 23, '08 11:48 PM

Category:Other
Name: Megatron
Series: Transformers Henkei
Faction: Destron
Size: Voyager Class
Packaging: Boxed Window Packaging
Release: March 2008
Variations: TF Classics Megatron (2006 by Hasbro)

Introduction & Comments:

Megatron come a long way becoming a Walther P38 U.N.C.L.E originally. That was the only time he had the alt form of a hand weapon. After that he has been everything from a tank to a dinosaur to a space jet and even a huge head. With the Classics line that was released in 2006, Megatron has finally returned to his original alt form type. Though the stealthiness of this alt mode isn't even close to a Walther P38.

Due to laws passed about creating toy guns it wasn't a pleasing sight that he won't come back as a gun for the second time. Actually it would be a third time as a Master Piece Edition. But where talking about the classics series. He came out as a gun but the colors where not that attractive. Until Takara Tomy came with there own classics line...

Gun mode:

Megatron's altmode is out of this world more like in a reference to futuristic sci-fi guns that Vash The Stampede uses. Blame it on US Federal regulations which states that a toy gun must resemble nothing of a real gun. But comparing it to the US release this is close to perfect with the repaint. The muzzle now is and clear with red accents similar to G1 vintage colors.

The gun looks pretty decent and a lot of the G1 accents are integrated in, such as the bullet chamber, the hammer and trigger.

Another thing that seems to be missing are rub signs! The big Decepticon symbol on his scope is now in metallic purple, but no rub signs to be found which is good.

The scope gimmick still works and remains that your actual target may get blocked out. Right where the cross-hairs meet, there is still a big blur now that its all red. The purpose of a scope is useless when you can't zero your target.

Transformation:

The transformation is misleading for a first timer to own this. You can notice his legs in alt mode, but they disguise the legs well now that its painted black. The first part of transformation consists of lifting the sides of the gun up to expose the 'wings'. One look under the wings and you'll think it's a complicated mixed body parts. Anyways I was able to transform him effortlessly without even looking at the instructions, since I already own the first one. My suggestion is to would-be first timers to NOT look at them, they'll only confuse you more.

Robot mode:

Megatron's robot mode now is close to the G1 vintage due to its updated colors. Now black dominates over the silver here with red accents. Its now nearly perfect that it now mimics how he looked like in G1 colors. Some gold which is now black shows up on the pelvis and chest.

True to his G1 roots, the scope becomes his Anti-Proton Pulse Cannon. The wings are a nice touch and add to his malevolence. Though sometimes the "wings" is a bit of hindrance that you can't put his right arm straight down due to the scope.

Poseability is still mixed as joints are all set up. The knees are five point ratchets with free horizontal movement. The hips have pseudo-ratcheting joints for fore and partial movement, plus full ratcheting joints for extending movement. Shoulders are elbows are both ratcheting. The waist is stationary that really was noticeable.

His head has a full range of horizontal and vertical movements. He even has a neck as skinny as it is, but you won't notice it until you looked closer. The head sculpt is very G1 inspired. He does have light piping for his eyes is now red which was previously green.

Toy Gimmick:

The gun fits nicely into your hand and the trigger can be squeezed. Don't expect anything like the first time it came out the trigger just still clicks. At least there's no electronic noises or the ones in Megatron-like bootleg imitations to drive one crazy. But in the end you also notice why they aren't there.

Packaging:

Window box type now in robot mode. Compared to the Classics box design this one you can keep in a decent shelf. Unlike the one that came before the shape was unpleasing for storage.

Accessories:

Product catalog, tech spec profile card and product manual.

Overall Rating:

Well again with poseability as previously mentioned it's still mixed. The joints are all set up, but due to the wings his balance is off. If stood straight up, he has a tendency to lean back and ultimately fall flat on his back. Its back heavy at was before and you have to bend him forward slightly so he'll stay standing.

There are a lot of little nitpicks with this figure, but overall Megatron is done justice with this updated color. Better than being a dragon or a giant sized batman inspired race car. After two years of wait a lot of custom repaints & bootlegs that came after the original color and now updated by Takara Tomy who would say he's close to perfect?

As Dieselboy M of TNI Forums would suggest to lose the wings. But that's not gonna happen as we set our debatable sides & agreed he's almost close to perfect which earns 9.5 ROBOTS POINTS.

ReviewReviewReviewReviewTF Classics: JetfireMar 23, '08 11:15 PM
by Transformers for everyone
Category:Other
Name: Jetfire
Series: Transformers Classics
Faction: Autobot
Size: Voyager Class
Packaging: Boxed Window Packaging
Release: Fall 2006
Variations: Possible Takara Tomy Release

Introduction & Comments:

In original Generation One Series Jetfire came out as one of the tallest characters not to mention an Autobot who could fly. He was known as SkyFire in the TV series a scientist and friend of Starscream. Both where Explorers who ventured to an unknown planet would later revealed as Earth, where he would be buried alive until the rest was history. He was big and carries a big gun, and came out as a Macross toy. The mold would be the most familiar figure, that came out from the then toy manufacturer Takatoku, which Bandai would eventually bought the company and the toy molds.

Hasbro have used that Super Valkrie mold and would be known Jetfire. For years the Jetfire name has been brought back again coming out either a space shuttle or a cybertronian aircraft. Not until Hasbro went back to old school and IDW Publishing would come out with the mini-series titled Stormbringer, which would eventually bring us Jetfire in his Transformers Classics toy form.

Vehicle mode:

For more than twenty years sometimes you can say nothing has changed. Jetfire didn't changed a bit, but got more improvements and was even better than I think.

Sleek jet reminds me of the F-14 Tomcat, but the pilots driver seat has a nostalgic resemblance to his cartoon counterpart. From the armor down to his boosters overall entire vehicle form. He has that old school Jetfire we have known when he came out. An added bonus to that beside weapons are removal.

He has a gerwalk mode, which is not part as option to the product, but he can do that as well any Valkrie out there. The problem is he's a bit front-heavy. He can do it with all his armor intact, and all you need is to improvise in repositioning his legs. Don't forget to flatten his rear wings.

The wings can be swept to the back, and to the front depends on your discretion. Without the armor and guns attached he looks good, but just in other review he looks like a bit naked on the side. Revealing his closed fist, and If you attach all his weapons you won't notice it. Landing gears are retractable and free wheeling. The Autobot with the most symbols not only he has the signature rubsign. He's got Autobot tampos on his wings too. Colored in white, red, and black accents remains since his G1 introduction.

Well armed when all the weapons attached, and his two large guns swivel out reveals two massive cannons. Two tiny guns located on both sides of the nosecones rotates.

Blasters on both sides fire two spring loaded missiles. The boosters on his pack can be positioned upward or downward. The two massive cannons are spring loaded, and it gets locked by sliding the piece that's attached near the thrusters.

Transformation:

An old school would always stay old school just like his G1 predecessor. The transformation is almost as close as the same. The difference since he is entirely a new mold his nosecone reveals where his head is located. The nose of the jet splits and retracts to the side. His arms on the side gets unlocked as shoulder rotate to for adjustment to the proper position in robot mode. The entire back folds back and the wings swept forward, but like I said before its in your discretion you position the wings. I just follow the Stormbringer look.

The weapons or shall we call it wrist blasters can either be removed rotate upon transformation. Robot mode is not that difficult for the average guy who owned a Super Valkrie. Either that if your not familiar with the toy for the first time, maybe you should try the instruction manual.

Robot mode:

His head's bigger than I thought, and there was some would say its not balanced. Well that's fine for me to say underneath is his actual face.

The familiar cartoon look complete with light piping effect. His eyes are aqua blue and the helmet is a cross between the old G1 head and Bruticus.

Antenna can rotate and becomes his mini-machine guns. Without the armor and the helmet looks like he lost weight. His handheld blaster in vehicle mode splits in half, but put together in robot more its a twin nozzle blaster. Its the usual weapon he carries in the Stormbringer comics.

As tall as Classics Megatron he's bigger than any of the good guys both in robot and vehicle mode. Arms are well articulated down to his wrists. The legs won't have the same impact as has less articulation, hence the limited action poses you could make.

In armor mode he's a one-robot killing machine with array of firepower. His back pack can swivel, and position as his shoulder mounted cannons. His back pack is top heavy and easily fall down. His action poses are not positioned properly, due to his short legs with limited articulation. Other than being his body is not proportioned. This is one of the best looking TF Classics to come out.

Toy Gimmick:

Spring loaded shoulder cannons, Removable armor, and weapons. Not to forget removable helmet reveals his cartoon/comics head. A lot of time playing the figure and transforms into a jet that turns into a armored robot. Enough playability not that is definitely a gimmick.

Packaging:

Packaged in window box with the flip mode reveals his robot mode in the photo. Wrap in more wires than Optimus Prime, and Megatron combined.

Coming out from the Wave 2 assortment and notice the box copyright is now under the TOMY name.

Accessories:

Comes with a blaster, removable back pack, two missiles, wrist launchers, helmet, and product manual.

Overall Rating:

I would consider Jetfire tops overall on my book. With a lot of gimmicks that came with him, and nostalgic look of his cartoon appearance would give reason for him to be sold out.

He maybe a bit costly here in the Philippines due to, that he's been sold in specialty stores. Since he'll never be out in toy stores such as Toys R' Us or Toy Kingdom, but he ever gets to be sold in malls expect him to fly off the shelves.

Small gripes about his fist showing in vehicle mode and limited leg articulation. Include the top heavy-ness in robot mode with all his armor attached. I give Jetfire a score of 9.5 Robot Points.

Name: Arcee
Series: The Movie
Packaging: Carded
Release: 2007
Manufactured By: Hasbro
Variations: Same version in Japan
Accessories: Instruction manual and one black missile/exhaust pipe
Notes: Minor difference with content and packaging.

Toy Review by: MagnusJam

Introduction:

In the 2007 theatrical film Transformers Arcee was to debut, but did not made it in the big screen as not fit. For all the hype with the movie possibly Arcee will make her debut in the sequel, and moving forward let's hope this time its a a reality. Though she did make it on film her appearance was in the prequel comics.

Vehicle Mode:

Arcee's alt mode is a big bike mostly in purple with a silver dash on both side. There is black painted parts mostly in the end part of the bike and underneath. Though not familiar with motor bikes or with any brand, that has significants with the altmode.

Detailed license plate in the end part where its scribes "TF 7407", which is the actual date of the showing of the film. The rims in gold color and you could actually say this figure is alike from the Alternators toy line with realism put into it.

Some added play ability won't stop you for having an action figure ride the bike. G.I. Joes mostly fit in but it makes look a bit larger for a 3 3/4 figure. A Revoltech Dante would do nicely a bit large, and would probably a good scale to match with the alternate mode.

Transformation:

Its not that difficult once you first time had released the figure from its wires. If anyone had picked up an Arcee released under the Energon/Super-Link or toy line the Target Exclusive Scout Class blue bike. This would be second nature when it comes to the transformation. The figure has close similarities though a few minor difference like the weapons on The Movie version is part of the alternate mode.

Robot Mode:

The head is not satisfying to look at, though a great figure when you talk about a woman's body. Basically just the odd design when it came to the head that bothered a few who have expected more. Retaining all the color from her vehicle form but you can see the chest has a silver and gold parts.

Feminine like arms and hips more like she's wearing high heel boots. Accustomed blue belt buckle matching her robot eyes with light piping effects. The figure looks like a stunner unfortunately what bothers me is the design of the robot's face.

Cool action poses are not difficult to perform as the figure has a lot of joints. Save the shoulder part of the robot, which I did not like hindering some good posture. The figure also lacks a waste joint for some nifty action moves. This figure looks better with the body design compared to the previous incarnation.

A part from her robot form is the entire gas tank/seat of the motor bike, which features the automorph gimmick when you attach the exhaust pipe reveals her signature bow. The same weapon that was designed for the smaller scale Arcee that came out in 2004. Same tailored color to the robot has a print says "RC1100" and the end part, where the license plate used to be in vehicle form.

Comments:

Arcee is also in the want list category if your going to get selective with The Movie figures. Though not in scale with everyone gives more play value in vehicle form for your Joes & gashapons. The robot modes hindrance is the design of the shoulder. A bit pleasing though it can be remedied by just not folding it, but looks like she has wings on either side. Overall I'd say one rare additional femme bot would do a difference to your all-male bots' & cons' to fight over with.

Vehicle Mode: 5
Robot Mode: 4
Gimmicks: 3

Accessories: Instruction Manual (In Japanese), TakaraTomy Product Catalog, Orange Translucent Missile
Notes: Japanese version slight difference how they sealed the packaging.

Toy Review by: MagnusJam

Introduction:

Longarm did not appear in the movie in robot mode, but clearly he was the tow truck that Mikaela drove when Bumblebee was severely injured and could not walk. Basically Longarm is based in The Transformers The Game released to all platforms.

Vehicle Mode:

Disguised as a tow truck in his alternate mode. The vehicle resembles (loosely) Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Colored white with blue flame on the front hood. Has a black grille painted with detailed headlights.

A description of Orson's Towing in red lettering. There is also a small Autobot insignia on both side of the quarter panels. An amber orange light bar sits on top of the roof. A functional wrecker hook that can swing up and down. A detailed wrecker boom has marginal lift of 15 degrees.

The same quality of plastic used similar to Payload as you notice the wrecker bed with the steel plate look. A un-even rear part in alternate mode doesn't seem to sync preferring one side or the other. Basically sometimes a bit frustrating to even both parts together.

When it comes to scale side by side with the Camaro Concept (Bumblebee) its out of scale as a tow truck this was supposed to be a bit bigger. The wrecker boom can tow selected Autobot cars not only from The Movie toyline, but previous TF series as well.

Transformation:

Longarm has a bit of challenge when transforming the figure. But the difficulty is mostly focused on the upper body. What makes it to have a minor difficulty basically lies in his arms once you position them leveled to his shoulders. Entirely its a neat transformation without an automorph ability.

Robot Mode:

The head looks like a ski mask from Friday The 13th horror film mostly painted in white with black outlining. An Autobot insignia on his forehead, and has light piping orange eyes. Design on his chest mostly covered in steel plate.

Minimal orange paint on his thighs mostly retains his white color from his alternate mode. The wrecker assembly becomes a huge gun with firing orange missile, which is pinned to his right hand.

Well articulated joints to elbow and arms which is ball jointed same with his head. A bit of frustration is his huge rifle, which is permanently attached to his right hand to avoid losing it. The feet design what makes it more playable for an action pose.

Comments:

So far best non-movie figure around with decent paint job. Menacing face added to that the light piping is orange tailored to his light bar and missile. Articulation and one scary look what makes this figure sought after by the fans who played the game.

Overall he could have been one of the perfect, though slight un-even parts when transforming to his vehicle form makes it rather a bit frustrating.

Vehicle Mode: 4
Robot Mode: 4
Gimmicks: 5

Toy Review by: MagnusJam

Introduction:

In the year 2003 Bumblebee crashes to Earth in search of the Allspark. Upon his arrival to Earth the S7 agents where already monitoring his crash landing. In a nearby highway hidden in the bushes he scanned a passing 1974 Chevy Camaro and the story continues in the Prequel Comics...

Vehicle Mode:

Old looking Chevy Camaro `76 colored yellow with racing stripes.

The details are quite over the top with the burnt marks on the car to look more "battle damaged" than antiquated. Compared to the japanese version it lacks the grill painted in black.

Other than the windows being painted instead of an actual clear window. The car is almost close to its big screen counterpart.

Transformation:

This require Automorph Technology by pressing the button on top near the wind shield, which activates its main front car part to pop out.

Though not entirely complicated, because it has the Automorph Technology. It makes it quicker and easier to transform. The only issue that damage the paint stripes on his legs is because of the hinges that folds.

Robot Mode:

Most of the black parts on his body revealed and that's what is missing all the Bumblebee Classic Camaro figures, and you can include the Concept Camaro version. For the reason some Bumblebee owners would start to repaint there's inspired by the first Filipino to customize a movie figure.

The head is almost similar to the Concept Camaro version, though it lacks light piping because they painted the eyes with metallic blue. The whole figure looks skinny when you look side ways, and its not much pretty if you tell me. But as a robot you can still make action poses.

Actually not the most accurate movie figure in robot mode, but with two armed weapons on his shoulder can double as blasters too. The missiles are solid yellow where the Japanese versions is transparent blue.

Comments:

Overall the figure looks nice in the front but if you see the figure in a different angle it looked like he was on a diet. Though also sought after behind the Concept version this version is actually neat when it gets repainted.

The Score:

Skill Level: 2
Vehicle Mode: 5
Robot Mode: 3
Gimmicks: 4

Overall: 4 out of 5 Robot Points

Special thanks to...

Great Toys for having the two-pack version available.

Toy Review by: magnusjam

Introduction:

Basically the most used mold so far possibly beating the G1 Combaticons for repaints.

Let's call it "The Arcee Mold" has been repainted and released either as a store exclusive, convention exclusive or club exclusive (if your a member of the Official TransFormers Club).

So far for this year of 2007 it was released twice. First as a repainted/recolored Blue Arcee as part of the first wave of the Target Exclusive and as Elita-One repainted in metallic red for the third wave assortment exclusive of the same store.

Vehicle Mode:

A sporty motorcycle probably the ones used in motor cross. Forgive me for less knowledge about what type Elita-One is as a motorcycle.

This time around The Arcee mold is repainted again and renamed as Elita-One a namesake of Optimus Prime's leading woman in the old cartoon.

The bike itself is painted in metallic red with pearl whit accents.

Similar to the original Arcee that was released in 2004 under the Energon toyline, but with a bit dark metallic colors replacing the original pink.

Its not entirely to scale with any 3 3/4 G.I. Joe figure, but it sure stands out as a scaled down big bike.

Though not entirely good to see Snake Eyes playing with a motorized bike for kids. The bike would look really great if it was driven by any attractive female action figure or gashapon.

Transformation:

What do you expect from Scout Class figures. Mostly simple transformation like folding one part and splitting another to form the arms or the legs. No difficulty in this figure when it comes to transformations.

Robot Mode:

Describing her head had deep blue eyes and silver face. This is sort of like helmet shape still distinguishing the design of Arcee's signature head.

The body now defines the red metallic colors and silver linings in her biceps. The usual limited articulation and has very small hands.

Not taller than a G.I. Joe figure Elita-One is small as somewhat previous reviews about Arcee, and as I notice somethings missing in this figure that would have captured the new fans "wow" factor.

She carries a huge bow made out of the exhaust when she's in her vehicle mode. Previously since she came from the Energon toyline she has with her the weapons made of... Energon. It was previously colored in transparent red along with the Energon Star now painted in flat black.

The robot mode has not change nor have any minor retooling. Its the same Arcee figure from the Energon series.

Comments:

Overall Elita-One is still Arcee no matter what color you put in this figure. Though they captured the original essence of Elita-One, that doesn't change with regard to the head design signature of Arcee. Right now she's a must have for those who didn't dig the blue Arcee colors.

The Score:

Skill Level: 1
Vehicle Mode: 5
Robot Mode: 4
Gimmicks: Energon weapons can be used by Deluxe Class any Energon figure.

Overall: 4 out of 5 Robot Points... Due to this was already previously reviewed in the original colors.

Introduction:

This is the Fast Action Battlers version of Autobot Ratchet released as Deluxe Class Assortment. The Chief Medical Officer of the Autobots who came from Earth along with Optimus Prime, Autobot Jazz, and Ironhide. When Bumblebee sent a signal to call for help.

Vehicle Mode:

A modified H2 Hummer into a rescue vehicle that Autobot Ratchet has selected to scan colored mostly with lime green. The detailing of the logo of the rescue vehicle is identical to the Voyager Class version.

The the grills and the headlights are molded together compared to the Voyager Class version.

The rims are still black and mostly 95% percent identical to its bigger brother. Its actually a scaled down that took less detail in vehicle mode.

Though what he lacks in detail and accuracy from the Voyager Class. What makes up to his vehicle mode is scale. If you park it side by side with Voyager Class Optimus Prime (Robo Vision) and Deluxe Class Longarm he blends perfectly.

Transformation:

This version of Autobot Ratchet requires less pressure in transforming him to robot mode.

It features also the use of its automorph by rotating the front grill revealing some part folding or splitting automatically in mid-transformation. Compare to the Voyager Class this takes less than five minutes.

Robot Mode:

Mostly his entire body is colored in black with the exception with the arms and legs, which retains the color from the vehicle mode. Head has blue eyes with silver paint application on his face.

The right hand is already fixed to his "scissor" mode, and had a missile launcher molded in-between the cutter. The added guns on his left hand is a nice fit.

Articulation is with the arms and elbows. Limited on not having the knees and joints to perform cool action pose. The legs lacks detail in color as well like it was left to be just a blank lime green colored leg.

Comments:

Overall its a nifty figure that never got the chance to shine due to others would rather get the Voyager Class version, but I see this one can turn heads if it was presented with fair justice.

In the end of the day if you want your TransFormers Movie toys to scale with the others I recommend this one. Though limited in articulation it makes for the detail that was retained from the Voyager Class version.

As they say... Green is good! ^_^

Introduction:

Scorponok, as he appeared in Michael Bay's Transformers movie is a robot scorpion. Scorponok is the only Decepticon in the movie that did not transform although the toy does; the tech specs state that Scorponok prefers his alternate mode. Screenwriter Roberto Orci indicated that this Scorponok is conceptually closer to the Beast Wars character than the original; he does bear a noticeable resemblance to the McDonald's Transmetal Scorponok figure. He is symbiotically related to Blackout.

Alternate Mode:

Robot Scorpion similar to Zoids Death Stinger.

Transformation:

Not much. Just swing legs down, flip face down, swing arms down and stand.

Robot Mode:

Standing robotic scorpion

Comments:

The scorpion mode is as accurate as you can get without becoming overloaded with detail and sharp edges and small parts which would make transforming an impossibility. The robot mode is obviously a mere afterthought since, after all, this is Transformers so the toy needs to transform. As usual with Hasbro's offerings of late, the toy is cast in dull metallic plastic and does not evoke the realistic die-cast metal feel of Transformers of old. The toy has an action feature that allows it to spin its drill claws like in the movie when the toy is rolled on the ground. Another action feature is the ability to attach to the Voyager class Blackout toy and again, activate the drill caws. The third action feature is the spring loaded stinger at the tip of the tail which allows it to shoot forward as in the movie.

Review by ZapTheMan

Name: Ultimate Bumblebee
Series: Transformers Movie - Ultimate Bumblebee
Packaging: Windowed Box with 'Try Me' perforation and 'Flip' feature
Release: Sept 2007
Manufactured By: Hasbro
Accessories: Missile

Overview:

Standing up to more than 14 inches tall in height, Ultimate Bumblebee is the largest Transformers Movie toy in the market. This represents Bumblebee's New Camaro form. Added-on features can be described as animatronic: Bumblebee reacts with lights, pre-recorded sounds and pre-set moves to sound or the push of a button. Features Devo's "Whip It".

Notes:

Ultimate Bumblebee does NOT have die-cast parts - of which I'm actually grateful. It's heavy enough now that it's all plastic. The plastic's quality is excellent. The use of heavy plastic instead of die-cast metal is a very good choice. The weight of metal parts might just make the plastic parts suffer (Case-in-point: MP Optimus Prime - the top is just too heavy for the plastic thighs to handle). Just take my word for it - it's all plastic, but it's a very sturdy toy.

Introduction:

In reverence to the G1 Bumblebee, movie producer Don Murphy wanted Bumblebee to be a Volkswagen Beetle, but director Michael Bay rejected it to avoid comparisons with Herbie the Love Bug. Bay chose the Chevrolet Camaro instead, which he described as having a friendly quality. Making Bumblebee a Camaro led a full product placement deal with General Motors, who supplied the alternate modes for the rest of the Autobots as well (Except for Optimus Prime who is a Peterbilt truck).

Voiced by Mark Ryan, Bumblebee is a friendly scout who develops a friendship with humans during his efforts to find the Allspark. He has difficulty speaking after his vocal processors were damaged in battle, and uses soundbites from radio broadcasts to communicate on Earth. Near the end of the movie, Bumblebee regains his ability to talk.

Bumblebee starts as a Second-generation 1977 Chevrolet Camaro in the movie, and later on reverts to a Fifth-generation Camaro - a concept car not slated for release until 2009. For the movie, the '09 model was built from a 2006 Pontiac GTO by Saleen and the body was built from the same molds as the '09 prototypes.

Packaging Text:

Earth's first line of defense against the DECEPTICONS is here! Hidden from his enemies in vehicle mode, BUMBLEBEE waits and watches until he is called upon to protect Sam and any other humans that come under threat from MEGATRON. He is a cunning warrior against evil, and dedicated to those he calls his friends. When danger threatens, he converts to robot mode with his plasma cannon blazing!

The TRANSFORMERS Movie hero “comes to life” at the push of a button! This amazing and ultra-detailed robot figure features an animated head, wings and arms. His cannon automatically “aims” and fires a missile! Convert this awesome machine in to Camaro concept vehicle mode with battle and conversion sounds! Groove to nine different songs, featuring “Whip It” by Devo! You’ll be ready for action with realistic revving engine sounds, screeching brakes and crashing noises – even a car alarm and horn! And with 17 cool phrases like, “Let’s roll out!” and “Take that DECEPTICON!” he's the ultimate interactive action figure powered up, and ready to bring the fight to the DECEPTICONS - or at least your bedroom!

Includes 4 AA batteries

Vehicle Mode:

Ultimate Bumblebee's vehicle mode is a very close representation of Chevrolet's fifth-generation concept Camaro. The paint job is black (stripes) and silver(wiper, door handles, gas intake, tailpipes and Chevrolet logo), with a touch of dark gray (grille, windshields and windows) and gold (Chevrolet logo detail and Autobot insignia) on chrome yellow plastic. The wheels are real rubber, with accurate tread detail on the tires, realistic mags and disc brakes. The headlights, fog lamps and taillights use clear plastic. Two things about the detail stand out for me: 1. the soft rubber side mirrors - the flexibility of the material protects it from breaking off. 2. the chrome-yellow plastic used on the car body - the color looks like real polished car paint. My only gripe is the opaque dark gray windshield and windows. It totally throws off the realistic rendition of the rest of the car.

When set to "ON", the alt mode detects motion of the car. Pressing the Autobot insignia starts off sounds of the engine trying to start up, and eventually with the engine running when stopped and the engine revving when moving. The headlights and fog lights light up at this point, and the revving engine sounds change accordingly to the speed that the car is moving. Stopping motion causes it to make braking sounds - the faster it was moving, the longer the braking sounds. Stopping also causes the tail lights to light up - don't want the rear bumped, now do we? :) When stopped and not touched for an amount of time, it plays a radio soundbite, music, or honks its horns randomly.

Transformation:

Ultimate Bumblebee comes packaged in robot form. According to the packaging, transformation is level 5, the highest in transformation difficulty. This is indeed true, as transformation is very difficult and there are some points that you'll discover on your own that are not referenced in the product manual. A lot of the car panels snap into place using locks similar to LEGO technic bolts. The leg collapses in similar to MP Optimus Prime, and it takes a bit of effort to push the legs in while holding down the buttons on the sides. The car doors are attached to the toy with rubber cables, and you have to push it onto the front side panels - hardly seeing anything - until you hear it snapping into place. When turning back to robot mode, the arms do not simply snap on to the body, there's a D-shaped portion in the joint that you have to align with the socket and it only snaps into place after a few turns of the arm. All in all, transformation to alternate mode and back to robot is difficult but it gets easier with practice. The parts are sturdy enough to handle your first few mistakes in transformation, but you still have to take care to not force anything into place.

Robot Mode:

Ultimate Bumblebee in robot mode is loosely based on the Bumblebee in the movie. Compared to the deluxe Bumblebee, it has more accurate individual parts (with the exception of the chest deformation). The head is very, very close to the movie. It gets a bit too large though, on the car parts - the chest is way too heavy, the car roof is a huge box behind his butt (this encases 4 AA batteries), and the tail section of the car are huge lumps at the back of his legs. This makes the proportions less accurate, and this discrepancy in proportions actually makes the deluxe Bumblebee a better representation of Bumblebee in the movie.

The paint job includes the same colors as in alt mode (the panels of the car that appear in robot mode, plus a few yellow parts on the helmet, arms and legs), with the exception of the appearance of more gray and silver parts. The body features a dry-brushed silver on dark gray, an enhancement that makes up for the largely flat chest when the front of the car isn't yet folded down. Finally, most of the limbs' robot parts are a lighter shade of gray with touches of painted-on yellow. The joints on the ankles feature gold plastic.

Articulation is very limited for such a large figure. This is primarily because of the animatronic features - the head can't be rotated and the arms can't be moved on the shoulder joints because this is controlled by the internal engines that move those parts when the feature is turned on. The arm with the cannon does not have an elbow. The arm with the hand is excellent though, with a ratcheted elbow, a movable wrist, movable fingers and a ball-socketed opposing thumb. The thighs, legs up to the feet have ratcheted joints on all four points of articulation - which only comes in handy during the transformation process - it doesn't do much to help in posing the legs because the large parts doesn't allow the legs to move too much.

When set to "ON", the robot mode reacts with animatronic sound and motion to button presses as well as voice and sound. It starts with Bumblebee saying "Ready!" and randomly cycles through a myriad of pre-recorded music and voice recordings (I've owned the toy for 3 days and I'm still discovering new voice recordings, sound and music).

Moving animatronic parts include a swiveling head, the door "wings" on the back (doesn't necessary flap, it swings up and down at random angles) and a full range of motion for the shoulder and elbows. Total upper-body work-out. :)

A third yellow button on one side of the body activates "Battle Mode", which basically makes him make hydraulic-machine sounds and/or battle noises. Pushing the button makes him aim his cannon arm and shoot the missile, as well.

Comments:

All in all, this is an EXCELLENT figure. It's more of a display piece, a robot you can put on the shelf and admire, occasionally turn on and have fun with the animatronic features. Once in a while, you'll want to transform it to it's alt mode, which is actually the better-looking mode - but who displays transformers toys in alt mode? Chicks surely dig it. They talk to it like it was a doll. Who couldn't resist the charm of a robot that talks back?

The Score:

Vehicle Mode: 4.9 / 5 - The opaque gray plastic windshield and windows should have brought it down, but the rest of the car is just too cool.
Robot Mode: 4 / 5 - Excellent individual parts, but the proportion is just way off. Give it proportions same as the deluxe figure, and it could have been a 5. Also, they should have done something to compensate for the lack of articulation due to the animatronics feature.
Gimmicks: 5 / 5 - The animatronics feature is the best gimmick in any transformer toy i've seen so far (not quite robo-sapien, but heck, robo-sapien doesn't have an alt mode does he?).

Overall: 4.7 / 5 - Definitely worth the HUGE price tag.

ReviewReviewReviewEnergon Optimus SupremeJun 22, '07 6:25 AM
by Optimus for everyone
Category:Other
Greetings my name is Superman and welcome to my review of Energon Optimus Supreme. This dude is a combination of both omega supreme and optimus prime from the Energon series. Instead of reviewing them individually I'm just gonna review the ultimate mode.

Packaging 3/10
Ok first things first..HAsbro has got to stop using those damn twist ties..i mean it just kills the mood when you need 20-30 Min's just to get you precious collectible out of the box. The box is pretty enough with info and pics of the product but those twist ties just really kill it for me. If there were no twist ties the box would have scored higher

Design 7.5/10
What can i say about the design, well for one thing he's suppose to be the embodiment of all that is good and fluffy about the Autobot's with planet killing potential. SO yeah i guess he's pretty kick ass. As far as guns are concerned he does not disappoint. He's got weapons on his left & right shoulder, on his left knee, left fore arm and EVEN HIS DONG. Yes Optimus supreme is so BAD ASS he has guns on his dong/wang area!

Knee Guns

OMFG he has PLASMA CANONS for his wang...I ain't lookin at this shit!

Close up of Dong canons

Shoulder Missiles

About the only gripe i have with this Mold is the fact that the rear end of Optimus Prime's Truck cab mode sticks out in the back which kinda hurts the score badly. Its Just FUGLy!!!!

Truck cab sticking out in back..I can't even look

Oh and Prime's head is kinda small and not proportionate in this combined mode, it justs looks kinda weird.

Small head close up

Small head

Other than that the design is good enough to give him a presence of authority in any Transformers collection. Just for the love of god make sure you show no one the dong canons and the back!!

Articulation 6/10
Optimus Supreme features a whopping 17 points of articulation as far as I can tell. In this day and age of hyper articulation 17 points may seem very little..I mean..I have 35 points of articulation myself *AHEM* anyways back to Optimus. 17 is all you need for him. I know its not an amazing amount but what he has can make him hold some pretty nifty poses. Oh and also his right arm extends further in to a boom like contraption for it to grab stuff

Behold the extending of the right arm

Accessories (nada zip, zilch, nein zero, nadai, sik ada)
Alas in this category the big guy takes a big hit. He comes with nothing. About the only thing that could even remotely be counted as an accessory is Omega Supreme's head. Which can be stored in a compartment on the right shoulder.

The head

the storage compartment

Oh yeah Omega supreme is also a head master. Meaning that his head can transform into a smaller cuter robot.

Ain't he cute.... :P

Fun Factor 8.9/10
Overall its a fun thing to play with, its huge, durable and its just an awesome figure to behold. Plus the fact it has launching missile gimmicks and a light up feature with sound on its left arm adds to the overall coolness of this figure.

The orange bit lights up when activated

Value10/10 (mine was a present) 4.5/10 (if you had to buy it)
A hefty toy at RM269.90 it's pretty steep for most collectors. And it gets worse when it reaches the secondary market. Very rarely on ebay do you see it on sale on sale for RM190-200. Don't get me wrong its a cool figure to get but the price factor really hurts it.

Things to watch out for
Nothing much really. This thing is so heavy and durable you could use it to bludgeon someone to death, thats how tough it is. Only worry about losing the missiles and omega supremes headmaster since they can be separated from the main body and they are kinda small.

Overall 6/10
Good solid transformer. Decent combined look, i just wished prime's head wasn't so small and it came with more accessories and the price was cheaper.

Where to buy
Good luck finding it in retail these days. Your only hope is EBAY and that's where the scalping asses rule unfortunately. If you're lucky , you might see someone selling it 2nd hand and cheap but chances are low.

Height Comparison

Prime Seriously Aim those things somewhere else!!!! DAMMIT!!!

ReviewReviewReviewCybertron Starscream ReviewJun 22, '07 6:22 AM
by Optimus for everyone
Category:Other
Welcome to another review with me Superman. Today i'm going to do a review Supreme Class Figure, Cybertron Starscream (SS). And he has the right to be called a supreme figure. Standing 14" tall you can't help but notice his royal Pain in the ass on your shelf.

All Hail the King!!

Packaging 4.5/10
Again just like my preview review of Optimus Supreme, SS suffers the same fate, by having too many twist ties. Meaning that the box is not collector friendly and that you have to pulverize much of the inside to get the figure out.On the shopping mall shelf the box looks good, just that opening it well...it's sad really.

Design 8.1/10(robot Mode) 8.9/10(Jet Mode)
Now i'm going to split this section into 2. One for the robot mode and the other for the jet mode.

Robot Mode. In this Mode SS stands 14" tall at the top of his head. This Design was taken/inspired by Don Figueroa's War within SS comic book appearance. Of the bat it's one gorgeous looking robot, but upon closer inspection there are a few things that could have been done better considering that there's more room for extra features since it's so huge. Colors are primarily dull gray and black, with Red and gold highlights on the wings and legs. Silver and black for the head. The missile pods lights up and produces sounds when the button at the top of the missile pod is pressed. Other Gimmicks include the Cyber planet keys that activates SS weapons systems. Just Insert the keys into the right and left shoulders and bring out the Null ray canon and Energon Blade. One problem with the Null ray canon is that the spring is soo strong when it snaps out the canon part comes off.

Head close up

The 2 cyber planet keys

The key in right shoulder slot

Null ray Cannon.

Left shoulder key Slot

Kick ass Energon blade

Unlike Optimus Supreme, SS has boobie canons instead of crotch canons.

BOOBIES!!!

Jet Mode. I love this Mode. I just one beautiful awe inspiring jet, that gives you the impression that it can pretty much blow anything out of the sky and then some. Jet mode is about 10" long and a good 7-8 inches wide at the wings. About the only downside to this mode is that you can see SS head behind the cockpit. Its not that glaringly visible normally. But put on the crown and U have a jet that flies around with a crown which looks kinda silly. But hey he's the king. The Null ray canon and Blade can still be activated in this mode but the blade really looks out of place.

Jet Mode (with Crown)

Articulation 5/10
This is the part where I kinda feel that SS got Shafted badly. I mean He features 19 points of articulation (POA) BUT! its pretty much what the smaller version has as well. There are no added movable joints apart from the boobie canons which were static on the small version of SS.Granted He's got 2 more POA compared to Optimus Supreme but i was hoping for at least articulated hands, like Primus and Unicron. The hand Here is just a a block of black plastic with a hole in the middle to hold something...But What??? Hasbro kinda slacked on this bit.

Accessories 5/10
Not much came with this dude. Just those 2 cyber keys and his Crown. A direct homage of the G1 crown that G1 starscream wore for a good 20 seconds before being killed. Just wish he came with an extra gun or something. that would have justified the useless un-articulated hands.

Things to Watch out for
Just the missile for the Null ray canon. It could go missing.

Where to Buy
2+ years ago RETAIL..now, EBAY.

Value 4.5/10
Again the price point for supreme class figures are pretty steep. RM269.90 could get you an awesome full course meal at any swanky restaurant. Hardcore collectors only. Casual collectors stay with the smaller cheaper deluxe figures.

Overall 7.8/10
Beautiful design, both robot and jet mode marred by minor issues in design and a painful price tag.

Well that's it for me today..goodbye adios and be good!

TransFormers: Target 2006 #1 is a reprint of old comics from the Marvel series. The UK comics continued where the Marvel Comics US run had ended. It was those times where Simon Furman gave the TransFormers Mythos a back story. It also gave us an idea what really happened.

Perhaps this is the chance to get a hold of the untold stories from the UK perspective. The artwork is not as what we expected but the stories Mr. Furman has told is really deep.

The first issue was a definite sold out had to pick COVER B making the comic scene as the cover.

Teletran Reports...

1.) Who are... Emirate Xaaron and Impactor?

2.) There's a bot that got killed in this issue.

3.) Galvatron meets Megatron?

The story is fresh for anyone who has not read the UK series. Overall its a cloud of questions but as the issue continues we'll get more than meets the eye!

TransFormers: Official Movie Prequel Comics #2 continues where the sold out issue one left off. Megatron follows the life giving Allspark in the deepest darkest part of space, which was jettisoned while six remaining Autobots delayed his plans to take it.

This issue has more dialogue than action. I can't say why but as the first few pages sees Megatron making it to our planet as early as we thought. Again you wont' notice Don Figeuroa's art, and the story now revolves on the humans. There first encounter with the terror that will rocked the movie in July.

Enriching develpment of the story was right here in issue two. Now we know why the war is here and you'll have to read the comics.

Teletran Reports...

1.) Ancestors of the Witwicky family could be traced way back in the 1890s.

2.) Who's Mega-Man?!

3.) Now we know who destroyed that rover from Mars.

Overall I'd suggest better pick up the comics `cause by June 2007 after the prequel comicswill be the adapted movie, which will be released an issue each week.

Synopsis say... Cybertron! A wholly metalic planet populated by robotic beings given life and "spark" by an energized Allspark of unknown origin. These sentient mechanoids existed in a state of peace that was ultimately shattered when one of their own sought to prossess the Allspark for his own sinister purposes. As civil war overtook the planet, robots fought passionately on both sides, seeking either protect or possess the life-giving Allspark. Now, all that stands between the malevolent Megatron and The Allspark is a cadre of six intrepid Autobots...

TransFormers: Official Movie Prequel Comics #1 is a must want to any TransFan who wants to know the bigger picture of the movie before the big screen date of 747.
