Greetings Everyone!

We are organizing another Bowl-A-Tron Meet-up this July 19th at Paeng's Sky Bowl, Robinsons Galleria. This time its a friendly competition with Action Figure Philippines. Its a special tribute to one of the members of that group who passed away.

This month's get-together we would like to invite everyone connected in our multiply accounts. To meet the faces behind the user ids who missed out on the previous meet-up, and just having a good time with fellow Transfans and with the Action Figure Philppines members.

TRANSFORMERS PHILIPPINES is back again this year's Philippine Toy Convention bringing you the original concept that others have copied. We decided to retain the rules from last year which was first implemented.

The Hi-Speed Transforming contest was first introduced in Toy Con 2005. Special thanks to forum members JoeShred, Ebonsaber, and Heer0san who came up with this creative idea. That has become a part of the yearly Toy Con event. The contest is held on the last day of the event. Feel free to drop by the booth to join on Sunday (June 15th)!


THE CONTEST:

Transformers Philippines will be having a “HIGH SPEED TRANSFORMING CONTEST”, which will have two stages (Elimination round at the booth and Final round on stage). The contest is open to all ages and the final round will be done in stage upon your request.


RULES & MECHANICS

MECHANICS:

THIS FREE CONTEST IS OPEN TO ALL COMERS (EXCEPTIONS BELOW). SIMPLY SIGN UP FOR THE CONTEST AT THE TRANSFORMERS PHILIPPINES BOOTH TO JOIN.

THE CONTESTANT WILL BE PRESENTED THE TOY TO TRANSFORM AND WILL BE GIVEN A MAXIMUM OF FOUR (4) MINUTES TO DO SO FROM ALTERNATE TO ROBOT MODE. THE TIMER STARTS ONCE THE CONTESTANT LAYS HANDS ON THE TOY AND ENDS ONCE THE PLAYER LETS GO OF THE TOY TO PRESENT IT FOR JUDGING.

THE 3 FASTEST PARTICIPANTS IN THE FIRST ROUND, AFTER ANY AND ALL PENALTIES ARE APPLIED WILL THEN QUALIFY TO COMPETE IN THE FINAL “BLITZ” ROUND FOR CHAMPION, 1ST RUNNER UP AND 2ND RUNNER UP RESPECTIVELY. THEY WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED A MAXIMUM OF THREE TIMES AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE FINAL ROUND CONTESTANTS IS MADE. UNAVAILABILITY OF THE CONTESTANT TO JOIN THE FINAL ROUND WILL BE DEEMED AS FOREITURE AND THE NEXT LISTED WILL BE BUMPED UP TO PLAY THE FINAL "BLITZ" ROUND.

IN THE FINAL “BLITZ” ROUND, CONTESTANTS WILL RANDOMLY SELECT ANY THREE (3) OF THE FIVE (5) TRANSFORMERS AVAILABLE AND WILL BE GIVEN A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) MINUTES TO TRANSFORM THEM FROM ALTERNATE TO ROBOT MODE IN RELAY, MEANING THE PLAYER CAN ONLY BEGIN TO TRANSFORM THE NEXT TOY IN SEQUENCE ONCE HE/SHE COMPLETES THE PRIOR ONE. THE TIMER STARTS ONCE THE PARTICIPANT LAYS HANDS ON THE FIRST TRANSFORMER AND STOPS ONCE ALL TRANSFORMERS ARE IN ROBOT MODE AND THE PARTICIPANT LETS GO OF THE LAST TOY TO PRESENT IT FOR JUDGING. AFTER ANY AND ALL PENALTIES ARE APPLIED, THE CONTESTANT WITH THE FASTEST TIME WILL BE DECLARED THE CHAMPION AND THE NEXT TWO THE 1ST AND 2ND RUNNER UP RESPECTIVELY.

RESPECTIVE PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED ON STAGE.

Hi! Anyone should be getting this message surely because the month of June is convention season. I know some of you would volunteer or help out the group with regards to booth activity.

So we where thinking if anyone here would be 150% percent interested and committed to plan this. Because we want everyone here to be involve as part of this community, and be part of this event in this coming Toy Con 2008 convention.

The event is happening on June 14 & 15 at the SM Megamall's Mega Trade Hall 2 & 3.

Most of the people from the forums have already pledge there help to support the group. We still have not confirmed if we have a display cab for this year. But three people have posted in the forums that they are eager to have there collection on display.

I'm setting a meeting for the event this Saturday (May 31st). The reason that I didn't post the venue and time. Because I want everyone who will be interested to let me know, which place they are comfortable that they can go for this meeting and the time everyone will be available.

Please PM who will be 150% committed to support this event by Friday so I can announce the time and venue.

Transformers Philippines conducts monthly meet/gatherings for the fans to interact not only as your usual EB (Eye Ball) for online members. But it is also a way yo connect with fellow members who have the same interest not only in commerce on who's selling or who wants to make a trades. Its also where we hang out and talk about the animated series and movies tied to the hobby.

We need suggestions on the the most days you are comfortable to schedule a mini meet-up/gathering, and the alloted time for everyone to be available. So post you suggestions, questions and inquiries, because our upcoming meet-up will be on the 15th September.

I am currently working on a new Transformers Fanfic being produced under the WORKING title,

'Transformers: Warriors'

The story will take place in an alternate timeline and universe. It will continue from the end of the 3rd season of The Transformers, in which Optimus Prime is brought back to life and the war against Autobots and Decepticons end, but with a few changes...

Before the war with the Transformers on Cybertron, the planet was full of all types of lifeforms, but when the war started, many of these lifeforms escaped to distant planets to escape the war, leaving only the Transformers on Cybertron.

The Decepticosn have actually been planning to destroy the Autobots when they reached Cybertron, but because of so much peace upon Cybertron for a long time, the other lifeforms returned to Cybertron, and so the Decepticons wanting war were outnumbered and destroyed.

At this time, the Autobots discovered a strange object that allows them to call upon any Transformer from the past or future. They kept this for emergencys only and named it Chromos (A mix of Chrono and Cosmos).

Soemtime later, the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron, returned with a new form adressign himslef as Melvatron. A combonation of Megatron and Galvatron!

Optimus Prime decides to use Chromos to call upon several Optimus Primes from alternate universes to help him stop Melvatron. but they also have to discover how did thsi horrible creature came into being...

Could there be some other devastating evil within Cybertron?

That was the basic plot to get you started. Here are soem key events that will happen within the series:

1: The Optimus Primes withihn this story are, G1 Optimus Prime, G2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime, Powermaster Optimus Prime, Star Convoy, Optimus Primal's three Beast Wars bodies, Lio Convoy, Big Convoy, RiD Optimus Prime, the three incarnations of Optimus from the Unicron Trilogy.

2: G1 Optimus MAY die and comeback as the Powermaster Prime

3: G2 Optimus will take the lead while G1 Optimus is dead and MAY get a new body.

4: Chromos will be able to separate Optimus Primal's three forms for more power. The same for the Unicron Trilogy Optimus Primes.

5: Melvatron will be empoweered by every single Decepticon and get a new form called Hybrid Melvatron.
